Ottawa-based event and wedding planner Cristie Vito is the inspired creator of Stellar Events. Her excitement and passion for event planning is evident from the moment you meet her, wanting to make each event as unique as her clients. Through her experience and knowledge, Cristie guides her clients through the planning process turning their vision into an unforgettable event that will dazzle their guests.
Cristie is Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Certified (WPICC). Before that, she obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College, as well as a B.A. in Communications from the University of Ottawa. During her career in public relations, she was involved in the coordination of numerous events including media luncheons, press conferences, general manager’s conferences and consumer product launches. Cristie’s organizational skills, passion, creativity and attention to detail are the keys to her successful events. She is looking forward to making your next event: a stellar event!

April Clavel-Cholette
Event Coordinator
April discovered her knack for event coordination while planning her own wedding. In as little as eight months, she was able to plan the wedding of her dreams while keeping within her budget. Since then, she has continued to develop her skills as an event and wedding planner and loves every moment of it. Her friendly and approachable demeanor puts her client’s at ease instantly, while her natural ability to come up with creative problem solving solutions ensures that each client receives innovative suggestions and guidance throughout the planning process.
April is Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Certified (WPICC). She also has a B.A. in Psychology from Carleton University and a Social Service Worker Diploma from Algonquin College. She is looking forward to helping her clients create memories from their wedding or special event that will shine in their hearts for a lifetime.

Nicole Ouellette
Event Coordinator
Nicole’s enthusiasm and love of event planning comes across as soon as you meet her, which gives her clients immediate confidence that they are in very competent hands. Not only is she extremely passionate about every event she works on, she thinks quickly on her feet which enables her to come up with creative solutions to any unforeseen situation that may arise. No matter what she is working on, Nicole always goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the success of the event or wedding.
In addition to being certified through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC), Nicole is also a graduate of the Special Events Management Program from George Brown College. She is looking forward to making your wedding or event stellar!

Rita Paul
Makeup Artist
Rita has always been passionate about makeup and making women look their very best. Her love of makeup led her to study at Versailles Academy, where she was certified as a makeup artist and received high praises for her refined artistry skills. Her approach involves enhancing a woman’s natural beauty, as opposed to hiding perceived flaws.
Whether she is working with a bride on their wedding day or someone attending a special event who wants to look their very best, she sees the beauty in all women and simply enhances that – revealing a flawless you!
